While attending college in Colorado, he had no intention of ever moving back home. His goal was to become a school principal or get involved in politics. Eventually, he realized his hometown of Bradford, family, and friends, were important. “One of the things I love most about running Valley Floors is working with the outstanding team here. Knowing that this business’s success allows people to purchase homes, get married, and stay in this tight-knit community is what gets me up in the morning. I am grateful every day for the support from our customers.” Ryan also has two beautiful children that keep him constantly on his toes!

Scott Trojanowski
Installation Manager
Scott began his career at Valley Floors in 2013. He was working as a general manager for another local business. Looking for a change, he asked one of his customers, Dean Chase, founder of Valley Floors, if he would write a letter of recommendation. Dean told him he was happy to, but perhaps Scott would like to join Valley Floors instead. Dean knows a good thing when he sees it! Scott joined the team as an installer, working with the various materials. It quickly became evident that Scott had natural leadership ability. Over time, he developed the knowledge to hold one of the most key positions in the organization. Scott manages the schedules for all our various installation teams. He is the point of contact for the customer after an order is placed.
“My favorite part of my job is solving problems, and handling the daily challenges. It could be anything from an installer with a problem on a job site, to a builder hiring us as a subcontractor with very little lead time”. Scott is the Valley Floors, “fire department”. Scott lives in the area with his wife Lindi and their blended family. Kayaks, skis, dirtbikes, and Waylon keep Scott busy when he is not juggling the schedule.
Chris Chase
Sales
Chris is another member of the Chase family involved in Valley Floors. Just like his brother Ryan, Chris has been a hands-on member of a family that takes attention to detail and quality very seriously. Chris is renowned for his tile work, and is now part of the Sales Team providing excellent customer service and extensive knowledge in all aspects of the industry!
Chris has three grown daughters and loves being outside and taking advantage of the natural beauty of Vermont.
Jennifer Crimmin
Sales
Jennifer “Jenn” has worked at Valley Floors since 2018. She grew up in Windsor, the birthplace of VT. However, she has lived in the Bradford area for over 30 years. She has children, grandchildren, and a menagerie of pets that includes a field mouse that often shows up in the strangest places!
Jenn has a strong background in sales & finance. “I love hearing back from clients when they tell me I helped make their ideas come to life.”
Most surprising to Jenn when she began her career with Valley Floors, is how much there is to know about the various flooring types. “I learn something new every day!”

John Patterson

John is one of Valley Floors’ more senior employees. In over 27 years, he has held just about every position including estimating, warehouse management, ordering, and “other duties as required”. John’s attention to detail is magnificent. Because of his vast product knowledge, he is perfectly suited to assist anyone with their flooring project.

Deb Chase

With her years of experience, Deb has seen many trends come & go. She has traveled to trade shows and has relationships with leaders in the flooring and tile industries. She bends over backward to help her clients create the most beautiful spaces imaginable. Deb takes the time to learn about her client’s lifestyle. “I hear them describe pets, children, housekeeping habits, anything goes! With that in mind, I can guide the client through all the options that check all the boxes.”
Her favorite part of her job, is getting a phone call telling her that the project turned out more beautiful than the client could have ever imagined.

Greg Hodge

Greg came to Valley Floors from a VERY unrelated background! He is well known in the area (kind of a celebrity really), due in part to being a life-long resident of the Bradford/Newbury, VT area. When he isn’t helping people find just the right solution to their window shade challenges, he most enjoys spending time outdoors. Hunting, cruising around with his fiancée enjoying the views, are tops on his list. Greg has been at Valley Floors for eight years and enjoys the variety of products and genuine friendliness of the staff.
